We also offer teacher training practise which can either be in the form of lesson observation costing £3 per hour and teacher training costing £45 for 1.5 hours.
During the observation sessions the trainee teacher can observe a qualified and experienced teacher during one of our regular lessons and will be given a form on which they can take notes on lesson content.
For the teacher training we offer a 15 minute pre lesson advice session where the Director of Studies offers comments on a lesson plan, the trainee then teachers some of our students observed by the Director of Studies and is finally offered a 15 minute critique on their lesson. The students are all adult foreign speakers and usually Intermediate to Upper Intermediate level. They do not pay for these classes.
* TESOL and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses cover the same syllabus. Employers do not differentiate between these two titles.
